Senkusha, also known as Kokoro on other websites is a self described Creative Fiction Writer and Creative Solutions Specialist. She was born in 1975, so as a resident old fart, she clearly identifies with Generation X, and has a mild level of sarcasm. She gave up long ago trying to please everybody. Long story short is forthcoming...
Born on the Eastern coast of the United States, she moved around quite a bit as a child. Nearly like clockwork, her father relocated in search of better and more prestigious jobs. At the tender age of 11, her mother died because of diabetes complications. (Remember kids, diabetics should NOT smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol, period!) After a period of a couple of years, her father remarried to another woman, an evil overlord of a woman that makes Cinderella's step mother look nice. This new woman in Senkusha's life tried multiple ways to remove the pesky, unwanted child from her life, including sending her to a Baptist boarding school in Nowhere Tennessee between eighth and ninth grades. High school was rather uneventful, and after busting her butt doing loads of summer schooling to catch up from being held-back in the sixth grade because of her biological mother passing (despite having the GPA to pass), Senkusha graduated in July of 1994. A few months later, Senkusha joined the United States Air Force to follow her lifelong passion of computer programming. However, it was determined that she was ever-so-slightly color blind to a very specific shade of green and red, and therefore, was unable to pursue any development in her chosen career. She opted for Computer-Communications Systems Operator. Basically a glorified techie, and instead of getting assigned to something cool like Network Administration, she got stuck in the Base Communications Center -- the absolute last thing she wanted to do after her fourteen week training encounter. She spent the next four years in various locations Stateside having a rather uneventful military career, even though at one point she became a hardware technician and warehouse monkey.
Senkusha was introduced to her love of anime in 2002, while searching for a replacement desktop wallpaper for her office computer. Windows 95 with that God-awful teal bland background was eye-numbing, and staring at a fake green pasture of rolling hills got boring after the third year of working there. Eventually, she found a cute image of a cartoon girl, whom she'd later learn to be Ranma Saotome. Curiosity took hold, and she researched into who this redhead was, quickly found the anime Ranma 1/2, and at nearly the same time, discovered the world of Fan Fiction! One of the best pieces she's ever read, The Magical Mystery Hibiki Tour, introduced her to Tenchi Muyo!, and during the same time, a new found hobby was forming: Web Development. Senkusha started up a fan site based on her perceived underdog character, Ayeka, and Ayeka's Bliss was born. A site that focused on her love of anime, role playing and writing from 2003 through 2012.
At the end of her first website, Senkusha took a break from the web and concentrated on creative writing. She wrote many stories using the world of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, and with Fate Testarossa being the primary character, she wrote about bizarre adventures that Fate found herself in. This also began a phase in Senkusha's life of personal introspection and growth, and as a result of the writings, she worked through many years of buried trauma that had been repressed. Senkusha wrote a total of six or seven stories, each at over a hundred pages in length. Unfortunately, these works were lost in a move, and must be recreated -- if only there was more free time in Senkusha's life! Anyway, one of Senkusha's goals is to recreate the many stories of Fate Testarossa, in her slightly alternative universe setting -- usually involving several crossovers from other anime titles.
Other projects that Senkusha is working on, are the following:
- The Kokoro Konnection: Senkusha's personal Patreon page infused with a spicy blend of spirituality topics, anime, role playing stuff, and her official fictional stories collection!
- The AniMyth Project: An anime-centric MMORPG game inspired by the once big Asheron's Call, utilizing completely free assets from Unreal Engine, Gimp, Blender, and Vroid Studio.
- Mythic Misfits: Contains many personalized anime-centric items.
